A cash bar is for events where individuals pay for their own drinks. A $200 minimum in sales is necessary to provide a cash bar at your event. All bars without food will require a $400 minimum. If the minimum sales fall short, the difference will be added to the final bill. There is also a $100 set up fee for the bar set up. This fee includes the first four hours of your bartender fee. $15 per hour per bartender will be added should your event run past 4 hours.
A hosted Bar is for events where the host pays for the alcoholic beverages on consumption. The cost will be included in the final bill. Host bars may be set up as Beer & Wine only or as a full bar. Liquor is charged by the drink; wine is charged by the number of opened bottles. Beer is charged by the bottle or can. No alcohol is to be taken from the event, with exception of opened wine that has been recorked. A fee of $125 for bar set up. A $200 minimum in sales is required. An hourly bartender fee ($23/hr.) will be added to include time for set-up and tear down of the event.
Bar service may be split between Host and Cash. Example: Host pays for beer and wine consumption, while guests pay for cocktails. A $200 minimum in total sales is required. Bars without food will require a $400 minimum. If the minimum falls short, the difference will be added to the final bill. There is also a $125 set up fee for the bar set up. If there is more than one bar a $25 bar set-up fee will be added for each additional bar. An hourly bartender fee ($23/hr.) will be added to include time for set-up and tear down of the event.

6 hour open bar – $30/pp
5 hour open bar – $28/pp
4 hour open bar – $26/pp
3 hour open bar – $25/pp
Premium Bar includes the Signature Bar items as well as Upland Beer, Chardonnay, Moscato, Patron, Grey Goose, Maker’s Mark, Johnnie Walker Black, Bombay Sapphire, etc. priced at:
6 hour open bar – $34/pp
5 hour open bar – $32/pp
4 hour open bar – $30/pp
ALL GUEST CONSUMING ALCOHOL MUST BE 21. BARTENDER TO GUEST RATIO CANNOT EXCEED 100 TO ONE.
All alcohol served must be accompanied by food and non-alcoholic beverages. No outside liquor will be permitted at the event, without prior knowledge. No alcohol will be allowed to be carried out of the event. Bartenders and staff of Garnish Catering have the right to refuse service of alcoholic beverages to individuals or groups that exhibit signs of intoxication. Security needs may need to be assessed, depending on size and location of your event.
All Cancellations Must be sent via email at least 7 (seven) days prior to the event to receive a refund. All events not canceled 7 (seven) days prior to the event will receive a cancellation $200 fee. If you have ordered a keg, for your event you must cancel 14 days in advance as these are ordered in advance. If canceled after this, you will be responsible for 50% of the cost.
We recommend that groups of 75 or more purchase a Security package. This is for the protection of your guests. We can add security to your invoice. The rates would be $25.00 per hour per officer. We work with Security Pro 24/7. A local company that has provided security for small businesses and larger events like the Taste of Bloomington. They can provide you with all security needs.
